🥣🌈QUEER SOUP NIGHT IS BACK, for our 3rd event.

Come as you are. Come hungry. Come curious. Come in your best Pride attire or what makes you feel comfy.. There’s no pressure.

Join us for an evening of soup, music, art, tarot, astrology, and connection as we gather around food and support LGBTQ+ community care.

This Queer Soup Night, we’re proud to support the LGBTQ Center of Durham and their Pride Campaign for $50K in 2026. Funds raised will support the Center’s work to create an authentic, accessible Pride and provide year-round resources for our LGBTQ+ community. We’re also helping raise awareness and support for the Center’s Food Pantry and the essential resources it provides. @pridedurhamnc @lgbtqdurham

Featuring 40+ food vendors along with 60+ LGBTQ-affirming community vendors selling and sharing their products, Drag Story Hour, and more!

In partnership with the LGBTQ Center of Durham, Durham Central Park is  kicking off DURHAM PRIDE WEEK and putting on this special September Rodeo: PRIDE Edition!  This Rodeo will feature 40+ trucks and tables offering food & drink cuisine from all over the world. Along with 60+ LGBTQ-affirming community vendors selling and sharing their products, Drag Story Hour, and more, prepare for the ultimate Sunday Funday in Durham Central Park!

Rodeo FAQs

No matter what, Food Truck Rodeos are rain or shine.

Although most trucks accept credit cards, an ATM machine is on site if needed.

If you need to park nearby, the lots to our South and West are open

Though dogs are welcome, please keep them on regular (not retractable) leashes

So that you get maximum enjoyment, bring a blanket or a lawn chair so that you can experience a quintessential Durham afternoon with friends and family.

Are you ready for elections? Does your ID look like you today? Join SONG Power's effort to TRANSform the Vote! They'll cover the cost to get you from the Center to the Board of Elections (BOE) and help you get a voter ID that captures you just as you are, no gender marker necessary. And an attorney will also be present to answer legal questions you may have. Click here to sign up.

The last transport to BOE will leave at 415PM, and it should only take 20-30 minutes and a current voter registration. If you're already registered, confirm it in advance, and if you're not, register online today. Once complete, we'll return to the LGBTQ Center of Durham and join the Sexual Health Open House for food, STI testing, & mutual aid offerings in community.
